On Monday, October 24, at around 11:29 p.m., Falmouth Police received a 911 call reporting a stabbing at a home in East Falmouth. When they arrived, they discovered a person who was badly hurt. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital in the Boston area, where he is still receiving medical care for his wounds. The blood trailed across the highway to a parking lot, where it abruptly came to a stop next to a parking space. This doesn’t seem to be a chance occurrence. Detectives from the District Attorney’s Office, the Falmouth Police, and the State Police are carrying out the investigation.Statement from the D.A.’s office as of late: Michael O’Keefe, the district attorney for Cape & Islands, revealed on Wednesday that the Falmouth stabbing victim had passed away from his wounds. On Monday, October 24th, a 911 call was made reporting a stabbing at a home in East Falmouth. When they arrived, they discovered Corey Lowe, 29, of Falmouth, severely hurt. He was taken to a hospital in the Boston region, where he passed away yesterday evening. Detectives from the District Attorney’s Office and the Falmouth Police are still looking into the situation.On October 27, the D.A.’s office released an updated statement. James Blood (also known as Hector), 39, of Lynn, and Cynthia Rubin, 43, of Reading, were charged today in relation to the death of Corey Lowe on October 24, 2022, in Falmouth, according to Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe. Charges of Home Invasion and Assault and Battery Dangerous Weapon were brought against Mr. Blood. Charges of home invasion and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon were brought against Ms. Rubin at her arraignment. Charges are related to an event that happened on October 24, 2022. A 911 call was made to Falmouth Police reporting a stabbing at a home in East Falmouth. When they arrived, they discovered Corey Lowe, 29, of Falmouth, severely hurt.
