Wambui Otieno was a Kenyan politician, activist, and writer. She is best remembered for her participation in the Mau Mau Uprising in Nairobi. She spied on the British and even procured arms for the soldiers. After Kenya's independence, Wambui Otieno went on to establish a political career.
